DSU Volleyball Players Receive Accolades

Two Lady T’s were named a part of the North Star Athletic Association Player’s Of The Week. Senior Barbara Briceno  was named the Attacker Of The Week while Sophomore Peyton Groft was named Defender Of The Week. DSU went 2-1 this past week, including two wins to open up conference play.

Briceno recorded a double double in all three games via kills and digs, finishing the three games last week with 47 kills and 48 digs while picking up three blocks and hitting at a .356 clip. Meanwhile, Groft had 61 total digs in the three matches and had just one error and chipped in offensively with 12 assists.

DSU Volleyball sits at 7-6 on the season, 2-0 in conference play and will be in action tomorrow night at home versus Mount Marty College.
