DSU Volleyball of to NSAA semi’s after 3-0 opening round win

Dakota State volleyball used a balanced offense Saturday afternoon to earn a 3-0 sweep over Mayville State in the first round of the  North Star Athletic Association Women’s Volleyball Postseason Tournament at DSU Fieldhouse. Set scores were 25-18, 31-29, and 25-21.  The Trojans earned their fifth consecutive victory over the Comets.

Macey Wathen had a team high 11 kills for DSU. Hannah Evans added 4 kills and 6 blocks. 

DSU will be making their sixth appearance in the NSAA semifinals in the last seven years. The Trojans will face Jamestown in the first semifinal match in Bellevue, Nebraska.  The first serve is set for 5pm this Friday.
