DSU Volleyball Makes History
The Dakota State Volleyball team has made history, making it to the NAIA National Tournament for the first time in school history. Coming off of a second place finish in the regular season in the NSAA and runner-up honors in the conference tournament, the Lady T’s secured an at-large bid and will be on the road this Saturday in opening round action.Â
DSU travel to Leavenworth, Kansas to take on the University of Saint Mary, the regular season champions for the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Spires will come into the contest with a 29-10 record on the year (9-1 at home) while the Lady T’s are at 19-12 (7-5 on the road). Common opponents this season include: Dakota Wesleyan (both lost) , Friends University (both won), Morningside College (both lost), Mount Marty College (both won) and Kansas Wesleyan (both won).

First serve between the two sides this Saturday is slated for 4pm. To add on top of an already stellar season, the Lady T’s also cracked the top 25 in the Coaches Poll – coming in at 22!
