DSU opens Men’s Basketball season with 108-40 win over Oak Hills
All fifteen Dakota State players scored in the men’s basketball season opener Thursday evening at DSU Fieldhouse, as the Trojans scored a 108-40 victory over Oak Hills Christian College. It was the first time since the 2015-16 season home opener that the Trojans surpassed the century mark.
The 68 point win was the Trojans third largest margin of victory in school history. DSU also held the Wolfpack to 40 points, tied for fifth in school history in points allowed.Â
Colby Dillenbeck led the Trojans with 16 points on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting night. Brayden Pankonen added 13 points and 4 assists. Aiden Jenson came off the bench to score 15 points with 6 rebounds.Â
Dakota State continues their home stand Sunday afternoon, hosting Union College at 4 p.m. from the DSU Fieldhouse.
