DSU Men’s Basketball Open Season Monday

Monday Night marks the beginning of the college basketball season for the Dakota State Men as they will welcome in Bethany College to the Fieldhouse. The Trojans are coming off of a down season as they went 9-22 overall and 4-10 in NSAA play. This season’s team will not feature a Senior on the team, but there are seven Juniors for the upper-classman. 

Junior Josh McGreal is the returning leading scorer and rebounder (14.5 points per game, 6 rebounds per game) and DSU will also have back Sophomore Brady Van Holland (10.8ppg, 3.4rpg), Junior Brady Elder (9.8ppg, 4.5 assis per game) and Sophomore Carson Rentz (8.8ppg) to lead the way. 

Tip-off for  Monday nights contest versus Bethany  is slated for 7pm at the DSU Fieldhouse. We will hear from Dakota State Men’s Head Coach Gary Garner on Monday’s edition of sports.
