DSU Men fall at Jamestown

Jamestown shot 58 percent in a non-conference match-up with Dakota State on Saturday night, cruising to a 93-66 win at home. Leading by one point in the first half, the Jimmies went on a 12-2 scoring run to take a double digit advantage, 21-10. 

DSU pulled within four points late in the first half before Jamestown answered to hold a 36-27 at intermission. The Trojans pulled within four, once again, after a few minutes of play in the second half, but would get no closer. The host Jimmies would hold a double digit lead for most of the second half, dropping Dakota State to 3-11 on the season, while improving to 10-5. 

The Trojans were led by Anthony Costello with 18 points and nine rebounds, Gare Ewefada chipped in 14 points and Carson Rentz had 13. DSU Men return home for a New Year’s Day showdown with rival DWU. Game time is set for 7pm and action can be heard on FM103 and amazingmadison.com
