Dakota XII XC Meet

The Dakota 12 Cross Country meet was held Wednesday afternoon, at Yankton Trails Park in Sioux Falls. The meet was originally to be held today in Madison, but was moved due to poor conditions for running at the Madison Country Club. 

In the Boys race, Sioux Falls Christian had six of the top seven runners while picking up the team title over Vermillion. Lennox finished 3rd, Tea Area 4th, and Madison 5th. 

Isaac Engbers of Sioux Falls Christian was the race winner. Deion Cross lead the pack for Madison, finishing in 20th place. Isaiah Klockman followed in 21st, Truman Stoller in 23rd, and Bradedn Keller in 25th place. 

Tea Area took 1st place in the girls race, followed by Sioux Falls Christian and Lennox. The Madison girls finished in 7th place, led by Ellie Keller who took 11th individually. Addy Meyer placed 34th, Jesse Streff 36th, and Ally Sahr 37th. 

Next for the Bulldogs is the Region 2A Cross Country Meet, in Flandreau, on October 17th.
