It was another highly successful Saturday for Dakota State Cross Country as they competed in Sioux City at an invite hosted by Briar Cliff. The Men were runner-up finishers and once again were led by Braden Curnow who finished in sixth place and was the top NAIA runner. Maxwell Cruse took eighth place, Alex Derr 17th, Taylor Gipson 24th and Matt Dunn 29th to round out the top five finishers for DSU

The Women also had a solid day led by Jacia Christenson who placed third, Ashley Robinson was fifth and Jada Anderson placed 10th to round out the top finishers for DSU. Oddly enough, due to the lead group of the women’s race taking a wrong turn and were off the course the coaches agreed not to include the women’s team standings in the Briar Cliff Invitational.

DSU Cross Country will be back in action this upcoming Saturday as they will be on the road in Sioux Center, Iowa for an invite hosted by Dordt.
