In a game which Colman-Egan was pushed like no other this season, the Hawks were able to preserve in a 46-36 win over Wolsey-Wessington in semi-final play in 9B football. Senior QB Nate Tolley scored on a pair of long touchdown runs in the first half and added a touchdown pass as the Colman-Egan led 32-8 at the break.

The Hawks built a lead to 46-22 before the Warbirds battled back to within 10 points in the fourth quarter. A failed two-point conversion kept it a two score game and Colman-Egan ran out the clock for the win.

Tolley finished with 5 total touchdowns and his counterpart, Skylar Zomar finished with five rushing touchdowns for Wolsey.

Colman-Egan, the #1 seed will now face the #6 seed in Herried/Selby Area who was a winner over Harding County 54-32. The 9B championship game is slated for 4:30p next Thursday at Dana J. Dykehouse Stadium in Brookings. You can catch the action on FM103.
