Chester falls to Faulkton in five at State

The Chester Flyers bid for another Class B State title came to an end Thursday, in a five set loss to the Faulkton Trojans. Faulkton won the first set 25-19, before losing to the Flyers 25-21 and 25-11. The Trojans then rallied to win the 4th set 25-22, and the final set 17-15.

Makenna Larson led the Flyers with 19 kills and 25 digs. Peyton Melius had a match high 25 kills for Faulkton. 

The Trojans will take on Burke in the semi-finals on Friday, while Chester Area will play Ethan in the consolation bracket.
