Chester and Colman-Egan move into Region 3B semi’s

 The Chester Area Flyers cruised to an opening round win in the Region 3B playoffs Tuesday, defeating Canistota by scores of 25-16, 25-6, and 25-11. 

Lily Van Hal had 15 assists and 12 kills for Chester. Jacy Wolf added 8 kills and 3 aces. Lexi Bauman finished with 10 assists and 3 aces. Gracie Huntimer led the defense with 17 digs. 

Also in Region 3B, Colman-Egan beat Sanborn Central-Woonsocket 25-16, 25-17, 25-16. Brynlee Landis had 16 kills to lead the Hawks. Kaylee Voelker added 13 assists, with 8 digs, and 5 kills. 

Colman-Egan will take on Bridgewater-Emery in the Region 3B semifinals this Thursday, while Chester will take on Sioux Falls Lutheran. The matches will be played at McCook Central High School.
