CE Hawks wrap up tournament as Consolation Champions
Colman-Egan won the Class B Consolation Championship for the 2nd year in a row. After falling to Warner in 5 sets on Thursday, the Hawks cruised to a win over Gayville-Vollin on Friday, setting up a match against Castlewood on Saturday.Â
The Hawks won the first two sets, but Castlewood won the next two, and forced a fifth. Colman-Egan won that fifth set 19-17.Â
Brynlee Landis and Elaina Rhode, who were each named to the All-Tournament team, had 21 and 18 kills respectively. Rhode added 19 digs in the win. Presley Luze had a match high 26 digs, and Finley Luze 29 assists for the Hawks.Â
Colman-Egan wrapped up the season with a 26-6 record.
