Bulldogs take on Belle Fourche tonight in the first game of the 2024 season
The Madison Bulldogs open up the 2024 football season tonight, hosting Belle Fourche at the all new Brian Kern Family Stadium. The Bulldogs are coming off a 3-7 season a year ago, that ended in a playoff loss to Dell Rapids. Madison started last season 0-6, before winning the final three games of the regular season.
The biggest group of returning starters for the Bulldogs will be across the line this season. Coach Joe Bundy says the offensive front five could be the biggest strength for Madison this season
Belle Fourche makes the long drive across the state today to take on Madison. The Broncs were 1-8 last season, a record that included losses to Dell Rapids, Sioux Falls Christian, and Vermillion. They have just 6 seniors among the 47 players on the varsity roster.
Madison and Belle Fourche kick-off at 6pm tonight, on the turf of Blankley Field. The Pre-game show begins at 5:40 tonight, on AM 1390 and AmazingMadison.com
