The Madison girls basketball team will tip-off a new season on Saturday, hosting Elk Point/Jefferson at the Madison High School gym. The Bulldogs girls are lead by new head coach Danelle Keninger, who says the process of getting ready for the season started back in the summer.

Madison returns three starters from last year’s team, seniors Kendra Leighton, Grace Nelson, and Morgan Anderson. Seniors Brianna Steuerwald and Lexi Roeman, along with freshman Zoey Gerry, also saw significant time for the Bulldogs a year ago. Keninger is looking to use the groups speed to their advantage this season.

The Madison girls game against EPJ on Saturday is scheduled to start at 3:45pm. Pregame coverage on AM 1390 and AmazingMadison.com begins at 3:30.
