Bulldogs fall in five sets to West Central

The Bulldog volleyball team led on the road 2 sets to 1 on Thursday, but couldn’t put away West Central. The Trojans came back to win the 4th and 5th sets, while handing the Bulldogs their 2nd straight loss. 

West Central won the opening set 26-24. Madison then picked up wins of 25-19, and 25-16. The Trojans won the 4th 25-17, and then the 5th and final set 15-12. 

Cambree Ideker led West Central with 15 assists, 12 digs and 8 kills. 

Madison fell to 1-2 on the season, while the Trojans are now 3-1. Madison will play in the Irene-Wakonda tournament on Saturday.
