Lady Bulldog Softball got their respective Fall season underway on Sunday, sweeping a pair of games versus Dell Rapids and Vermillion. In the first game, the Lady Bulldogs used an eight run fourth inning to erase a 5-2 deficit – on their way to a 10-5 win. Izzy Gors, Emmi Clarke and Julie Hodges all drove in a pair of runs, Kesley O’Connell had three base knocks to pace the 16-hit attack.

Against Vermillion, Madison once again used a big inning to pick up the win. This time it was a nine run third inning, cruising to a 12-2 victory. Five different players had two hits and Amanda Vacanti drove in three. O’Connell pitched a complete game, giving up four hits and three walks while striking out four.
