Bulldog Golf places 5th at DV Invite

The Madison boys golf team finished 6th out of 11 teams at Wednesday’s Dakota Valley Boys Invite, played at the Two Rivers Golf Club. The Bulldogs finished with a team score of +52. That was only 11 strokes behind 3rd place Tri-Valley. There was a major gap between the top two teams and the rest of the field. Vermillion finished with a team score of +7, Dakota Valley won the event with a +2. 

Braylon Oftedal led the way for Madison with 10 over par round of 80. That tied him for 19th place individually. Grady Kane was close behind with an 82, and Casyn Crabtree with an 83. Gavin Schneider rounded out the Bulldogs scores with his best score of the season, finishing with an 87.

Carter Langle of Elk Point-Jeferson took the individual title with a 3 under par round of 67. 

The Madison boys will take part in the Sioux Falls Christian Invite today.
