Bulldog Football Looking to Build Off an Encouraging Summer

The Madison High School football team is entering its second week of practice now that the school year is officially underway in Madison. The Bulldogs are coming off a 3-6 regular season last year that ended with a first-round loss to Dell Rapids in the playoffs.

While practice only started last week, the Bulldogs have been preparing all summer, says MHS senior Ben Brooks.

Coach Joe Bundy says it’s been fun to watch players competing for playing time.

Senior Jordan Pedersen is expecting better results on the field this season for the Bulldogs

Madison will open the 2024 season at home on August 30th, hosting Belle Fourche at the all-new Blankley Field.Â
