Madison Boys place 1st at McCook XC Meet

Madison boys cross country took 1st place Tuesday at the McCook Central Invite, at the McCook Country Club. The Bulldogs finished with a total of just 19 team points, Flandreau was a close 2nd with 21 points.Â
Leading the way for Madison was Dylan Gerdes, who finished 2nd overall with a time of 17-minutes, 34-seconds. Daniel Aldridge finished in 11th place, Henry Meyer 13, and Kai Thomsen 16th for the Bulldogs.Â
Madison finished 9th in the girls standings, with Chamberlain taking 1st. The top finisher for the Madison girls was Smantha Troxell, who finished in 29th place.
The Madison cross country teams will head to the Jesse James Invite on Tuesday.Â
