25 Celebration of the Field of Dreams in Madison this Tuesday

For 25 years youth baseball games have been played in Madison at the “Ray Schultz Field of Dreams”. This Tuesday there will be a celebration of that field, and the players who call it home.

The Madison Baseball Association will be holding a Homerun Derby and All-Star Game, Tuesday July 2nd, at the Field of Dreams.

Madison Baseball Association President Eric Hortness says the evening will start with a competition for all 12U, 10U, and 8U players.

Following that, the 12U players will have a chance to take part in the long running Homerun Derby.

There will then be a special ceremony before the first pitch of the 12U All-Star Game.

There will be burgers and root beer floats. The event July 2nd, starts at 5pm and is open to the public.
