The Madison Bulldog volleyball team boarded the bus at 6 this morning, at hit the road for the State tournament in Rapid City. The Bulldogs will practice on the court of the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center today at 1:30 central time. 

Madison’s 20-8 record in the regular season, followed by three playoff wins, has put the Bulldogs in the Class A State tournament for the 3rd time in 4 years and the 5th time in program history. The Bulldogs will take on Dakota Valley in Thursday’s first round. The Panthers and the Bulldogs met once this year, with the Dakota Valley pulling out a close 5 set win. The teams also met in the 2016 State Championship match, with Dakota Valley winning in 4 sets.
