Thomas M. Hauge

Thomas M. Hauge, age 76, of Howard, SD died Monday, December 4, 2023 at his home. Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Howard. Visitation will be one hour preceding the service at the church. Inurnment will be at Belleview Lutheran Cemetery rural Howard.

 

Thomas M. Hauge was born on October 27, 1947 in Howard, SD to Ernest and Mabel (Fjellestad) Hauge. He was baptized and confirmed at Belleview Lutheran Church near Howard. Thomas graduated from Howard High School in 1965. He graduated from the South Dakota School of Mines in Rapid City and served in the US Army in Vietnam from 1969-1970. He farmed with his brothers north of Howard and he was a true Norwegian bachelor farmer. He was a member of the Howard American Legion.
