Theodore Feldhaus

Theodore Joseph Feldhaus, age 56, passed away February 18, 2020 at his home in Howard with his mother by his side and family nearby.

Ted was born on June 28, 1963 to Leo and Leona (Reisch) Feldhaus. He was the 12th of 13 children. After attending school in Howard he studied Auto Mechanics at Mitchell Vo-Tech. Ted later made a career in concrete construction. For the past three years he took care of his parents on their home farm near Howard and did woodworking making rustic furniture. Ted loved hunting, fishing and camping out under the stars. He also enjoyed gardening, cooking and searching for rocks. You could often find him in the kitchen frying up a mess of fresh-caught fish for a large group of family and friends.

Ted married Rene Herke June 19, 1982 and together had one son, Dagan (Kayla). Ted later married Tina Wright on February 14, 1990. They had four children: Christopher (Heydi), Ashley, Samantha (Michael) and Brendan.

Ted was a friend of Bill W’s and started each day asking God to guide his words and actions. He is survived by his children, six grandchildren Amelia, Tristan, Mathias, Leah, Zain, and Alec; his mother Leona Feldhaus, four brothers, eight sisters, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and father, Leo Feldhaus.
