Steve Kramer

Steve Kramer, age 54, of Howard, died Monday, September 9, 2019, at his home. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Friday, September 13, 2019, at St. Agatha Catholic Church in Howard. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Recitation of the rosary will be at 5 PM, Thursday with visitation to follow until 7 PM at which time a prayer service will be held.

Steve was born on October 17, 1964, in Mitchell to Dean and JoAnn (Sundstrom) Kramer. He attended school in Howard graduating in 1983. During high school Steve met the love of his life, Kay Kieffer. The couple were united in marriage on May 25, 1987. To this union three children were born. Steve began working at Stamana Vans before working at Kieffer Oil for 30 years. He was a hardworking handyman who could fix anything.

He was a member of the Fedora Fire Department. Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, watching sports, and going on vacations with Kay and their friends. Most of all he loved spending time with his granddaughter.

Those grateful for sharing in his life are his wife Kay; children, Kendall, Nick (Amber), and Mitchell; one granddaughter Leona; his mother, JoAnn; five brothers, Doug, Kim, Mark (Barb), Brian (Bette), and Tom; and one sister Liz (Lon) Gatton.

He is preceded in death by his father Dean; step-parents, John and Judy; and all grandparents.
