Randy Larson

Randy L. Larson, 65, of Crooks passed away on March 22, 2021 at Sanford USD Medical Center.  Funeral services will begin at 1 pm on Saturday, March 27 at Zion Lutheran Church in Canistota.  Visitation with family present will be held from 5 – 7 pm on Friday with a prayer service at 7 pm, at Kinzley Funeral Home in Salem.  The funeral service will be livestreamed and a link will be posted at www.kinzleyfh.com.

Randall Leslie Larson was born on August 6, 1955 to Nuel and Alice (Parker) Larson in Sioux Falls, SD.  He grew up in Canistota and graduated from high school there.  After graduation, Randy moved to Sioux Falls and eventually, in the mid-80’s, built the home in Crooks he currently resided in.  Randy recently retired from driving truck, but continued to do some part-time work.  He enjoyed hunting and loved spending time with his grandkids and family.  Family was the top priority to Randy.

He is survived by:  his son, Matt (Amanda) Larson of Sioux Falls; sisters, Diana Brandvold of Sioux Falls, Sandy (Joe) Farley of Casper, WY, and Mary (Jerry) Rennich of Sioux Falls.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
