Peggy Kirstein

Peggy Kirstein, age 89, of Madison, died on December 21, 2019 at Bethel Lutheran Home.

A graveside service will be 11 AM on Monday, December 30th at Rosehill Cemetery, Wentworth. Arrangements are entrusted with Weiland Funeral Chapel.

She was born on October 17, 1930 to Richard and Ione (Robar) Bauman.  She married Leo Kirstein on October 13, 1951. Leo and Peggy farmed in the Wentworth area.  Peggy was a busy farmwife, helping her husband with farming and taking care of their huge yard. Peggy also worked at Wenk’s Produce for many years.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leo, son Dale Hagemann, sisters Jean Moran and Donna Fodness, and brother Terry Bauman. 

Survivors include sister, Georgia McNeil of San Diego, CA; brother, Jim & Janet Bauman of Colton and brother, Bob & Carolyn Bauman of Sioux Falls.
