Judy Brunsvig

Judy M. Brunsvig, 82, of Madison passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Madison Regional Health in Madison.  Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 11 AM at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Madison.  Visitation will begin at 5 pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 with a 7 pm prayer service at Kinzley Funeral Home in Madison.

Judy Sorensen was born November 4, 1941 in Sleepy Eye, MN to Chester and Phyllis (Babb) Sorensen.  She graduated from Irene High School and on January 22, 1960 she married Larry Brunsvig.  They were blessed with 3 children, Jeffrey, Sandra and Sheldon.

Judy loved spending time at the river with her river family.  Many weekends and summers were spent at South Whitlock fishing with Larry and spending time with friends.  She also enjoyed caring for her many plants and her puppies, Sasha and Elly and her cat, Lucky.

Judy is survived by: her husband, Larry of Madison; children, Sandra (Rudy) Scholl of Madison and Sheldon of Madison; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey, her parents, Chester and Phyllis, her brother, Terris and her sister, Cheryl.
