John Sieverding

John Anthony Sieverding was born June 9, 1950 in Sioux Falls SD to William “Bill” and Helen (Rothans) Sieverding .The oldest of 3 sons, he grew up on a farm in Rural Humboldt SD, attending country school Plainview #103 only a 1/4 of a mile away.

John worked for various farmers in the area as well as Brandt House Movers, York House Movers and Feteral Manufacturing in Salem SD.

Upon moving to Iowa, John worked for Wilson Meat Company & Iowa Traffic Solutions for many years each, until his declining health forced his retirement.

On May 7, 1977 John married Leta Marie Wright at Westover Baptist Church in Des Moines , She passed away Feb 26, 1995. On May 24,1996 John married Linda Ann (Alexander) Banister In Sioux Falls SD, she passed away on Dec 1, 2012.

John thoroughly loved to hunt and fish all of his life and enjoyed visiting with friends and family. He is survived by; brothers Eddy, Paul (Claire) Sieverding, Uncle Francis Sieverding, Many cousins .

He was preceded in death by his Parents , His wives, all grandparents, aunts and uncles: Mary & Francis McMahon, Harvey & Helen Sieverding, Phyllis Sieverding, cousins, Kathleen McMahon, Tom Sieverding.
