Gregory Donald Dornbusch, son of Donald and Mildred (Peta) Dornbusch, was born on January 10th, 1949. Greg was united in marriage with Susan (Arens) Dornbusch on July 17th, 1971, in Howard.

Greg graduated from Howard High School in 1967, served his country in Vietnam by enlisting in the Airforce, and worked in Howard his entire life. Greg worked for over 30 years with PBM Howard and retired last year. Greg loved being busy and always had a project going, but that wouldn’t stop him from starting another and another, finishing was another story.

Greg’s passions were his children, grandchildren, family, friends and helping others. He loved to hunt and fish, but his favorite part was to see the success of others and be part of making their experience perfect more than it ever was for himself. He loved to garden and had over an acre worth of produce that he would share and with his co-workers, friends and family.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Susan; their children John (Heidi) Dornbusch of Woonsocket, SD, Molly (Wendell) Steeneck of Canova, SD, Joshua Dornbusch (April) of Harrisburg, SD.  His siblings Keith (Lori) Dornbusch of West Palm Beach, FL, Curtis Dornbusch of Howard, SD, Armand (Kristi) Dornbusch of Howard, SD, Mary (Craig) Hanson of Vilas, SD, Monica (James) Pipes of Ruston, LA.  9 Biological Grandchildren, multiple nieces and nephews and more adopted granchildren than we can count.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Mildred Dornbusch, his sister Julie (James) Richardson, son David Dornbusch.
