“Eddie” was born July 1, 1955, in Huron, to Vernon and Elda (Clemetson) Rostyne. He was raised on a farm south of Carthage. After high school, Ed worked as a bee keeper until 2009. He spent the summer in Carthage and the winter in Pleasantan, TX.

Eddie enjoyed his work with the “bees” and his simple life. He collected arrowheads in Texas, pencils, caps, business cards, and had a large record album collection.

He enjoyed golf, bowling, darts, reading, puzzles, music, and the Denver Broncos.

Ed was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2010 and spent the remainder of his life under the care of “compassionate caregivers” in three Alzheimer’s unit locations. His family is forever grateful for the work they do!

Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Charles (Vicki) Rostyne; sisters, Jean (Terry) Konechne, Joyce (Randy) Julius, Mary (Dick) Davis, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
