Doris McDonald, 92, of Madison passed away on January 24, 2022 at Madison Regional Health System.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin on Monday, January 31 at 10:30 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Madison.  Burial will be held at 1 pm at St. William’s Catholic Cemetery in Ramona.  Visitation with family present will be held on Sunday from noon – 2 pm at Kinzley Funeral Home in Madison.

Doris Mae Wolf was born on April 17, 1929 to William “Bill” and Evelyn (Rentsch) Wolf.  She was raised in Ramona and graduated from high school there.  Doris married Urban “Mac” McDonald on June 30, 1948.  Together Mac and Doris worked in construction.  She shared in the family business all her life.  When Mac passed away on July 8, 1979, she continued working with her son, Mick.  Family was always most important to Doris.  She was a member of St. William Catholic Church in Ramona and eventually, after moving into Madison, became a member of St. Thomas Aquinas.

Doris is survived by:  her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Chuck (Megan) Wiseman and their children, Cody, Kirsten and Alyssa, Tony (Kate) Wiseman and their children, Morgan and Savian, Tom Wiseman and his children, Zach, Christian, Jayden and infant son, Joseph (deceased), Jason (Brooke) McDonald and their children Chase, Ayla and Jadyn, and Justin (Molly) McDonald and their children Mara and Claire; siblings, James (Carole) Wolf, Jerry (Pansie) Wolf, Larry (Sally) Wolf and Elaine Henrickson; daughter-in-law, Virginia McDonald; son-in-law, Bill Hyland; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Urban “Mac”, son, Michael “Mick”, daughter, Joyce Hyland, sister, Charlene and brother, Donald.
