Diane Halla

Diane Halla, age 68, of Madison, passed away January 10, 2023 at her home of natural causes.
There will be a private family graveside service at Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted with Rustand-Weiland Funeral Chapel.
Diane Joyce Halla was born November 13, 1954 in Sioux Falls, she was the youngest of three children to
Stanley Arthur and Betty Joyce (Ireland) Halla.
She graduated from Rapid City Central High School and went on to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in
audiology from the University of Northern Colorado. She later held a job at the Rapid City Regional
library.
Diane's hobbies included watching old movies with her beloved mother and reminiscing about her
comical grandmother, Dorothy. She also enjoyed sharing humorous memes and political videos. She was
an avid decorator who had a full display for each holiday.
Survivors include her two brothers-Bruce (Carol) Halla of Ladson, SC and Brian (Nancy) Halla of Greeley,
CO; nieces-Dawn (Jeff) Morrison of Bloomington, IL and Ambur (Alan) Oster of LaSalle, CO.
