Bradley Clinton Arnoldus, age 37, of Madison, left the world because of respiratory distress on Sunday, June 12, 2022, in Sioux Falls. Memorial services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, June 17, 2022, at the Jesus Christ of The Latter Day Saints Church in Madison. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

He was born on January 27, 1985, in Pasadena, California. His hometown was La Canada, Flintridge, California. He graduated from Mid Pacific Institute, Honolulu, Hawaii, in 2003. Brad graduated from the Navy Nuclear Power School in Goose Creek, South Carolina. He served in the Navy, was commissioned on the USS Nevada, an Ohio Class ballistic missile submarine, and received an honorable discharge. He was most recently employed by East River Electric in Madison, South Dakota.

Brad is survived by his wife Esmeralda; one son Gabriel; his parents Clint and Lesley Arnoldus; and siblings Jennifer, Nicole, Theodore, Christine, and Alison.

He was an accomplished bodybuilder and was the definition of a gentle giant, possessing otherworldly strength and size combined with a kind, compassionate, gentle soul. Animals and children loved him instantly. He touched the lives of all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

Arrangements are with the Ellsworth Funeral Home in Madison.
