Beverly Jean (Jorgenson) Feuerhelm

Beverly Jean (Jorgenson) Feuerhelm was born September 7, 1938, to Otto and Clarice Jorgenson on a farm near Salem, SD. She lived most of her life in Bridgewater, SD, and spent time in both South Dakota and Arizona in retirement. She died in Scottsdale, AZ on June 10, 2024.

She was baptized at Salem Lutheran Church at Center, SD, and was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Bridgewater, SD, where she was a member for over 70 years. She graduated from Bridgewater High School in 1956. She was married to Wayne Feuerhelm for 65 years, and they farmed near Bridgewater, SD until retirement. She also worked at First State Bank and Hatch Uniform Servicers in Bridgewater. She spent time later in her life in Arizona with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In Arizona, she regularly attended La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church in Scottsdale, AZ.

Beverly enjoyed reading, cooking for and spending time with her large family, and participating in Church activities in both South Dakota and Arizona. Beverly is survived by her son Kent (Keyla) Feuerhelm, of Scottsdale, AZ, and daughter Cheryl (Patrick) Kruse, Phoenix, AZ, her grandchildren, Sonja (Fernando) Hernandez, of Laveen, AZ, Grant (Melissa) Adams, of Tucson, AZ, Sam (Courtlyn) Adams, of Pendleton, OR, Ben (Annie) Kruse of Phoenix, AZ, Allison (Doug) Houvener of Phoenix, AZ, Brock (Marie) Kruse of Phoenix, AZ, Daniel Feuerhelm of Sierra Vista, AZ, Carter Feuerhelm of Brooklyn, NY, and Kent James Feuerhelm of Scottsdale, AZ. She also enjoyed spending time with her Great Grandchildren Lily and Emma Hernandez, Mesa, Evie Jean and Hadlee Adams, Owen and Gavin Houvener, and Hazel Kruse, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Feuerhelm, brother, James Jorgenson, sister Dianne (Jorgenson) Wilson, son Glenn Feuerhelm, and daughter Karla Feuerhelm.

Arizona visitation will be Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 3pm to 5pm (brief prayer service at 4:30pm) at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. Funeral services in South Dakota will be held in Bridgewater, SD, at Zion Lutheran Church on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 10:30am.09/07
