Antonella Bellack, 98, of Sioux Falls, formerly of Salem passed away on November 4, 2020 at Bethany Lutheran Home in Sioux Falls.  Private family services will be held on Saturday, November 7 at 10:30 am.  The funeral service will be livestreamed and a link will be posted on this website. A public visitation will be held from noon – 7 pm on Friday at Kinzley Funeral Home in Salem.  Family will not be present.

Antonella Catherine Gstohl was born on April 21, 1922 to Peter and Elizabeth Gstohl in Salem.  She attended St. Mary’s through the 8th grade, until her mother’s death.  At that time, she went to live with Henry and Catherine Kolbeck.  Nell married Virgil Bellack on February 12, 1945 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Salem.  They had two children:  Donna Jean, who passed away due to polio at the age of 3 and Robert Virgil.  She worked at Colonial Manor in Salem for 18 years.

Nell was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers.  She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her three grandchildren.

Nell is survived by:  her son, Bob and Joanne of Sioux Falls; grandchildren Tony and Darcey Otter-Bellack of Brandon, Brett Bellack of Sioux Falls and Lisa (Jake) Shatter of Sioux Falls; and great-grandchildren, Kylee and Kaleb Bellack and Lexa, Lucas and Gavin Shatter.

She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Donna Jean.
