Today is Dine-Out-2-Donate day
Today you have a chance to support local businesses and benefit the Interlakes Area United Way at the same time. It’s the annual Dine Out to Donate event, and 23 eateries in Lake and Moody counties will be taking part.
For the event, participating businesses agree to donate a portion of the designated day’s sales to Interlakes Area United Way. Money raised is passed along to United Way partner agencies and programs.
Last year’s event raised a record $5,778—the most ever—bringing the total to more than $22,000 since 2017.Â
Dine Out to Donate kicks off the United Way’s annual campaign drive, which raises funds for non-profit, community service agencies and programs in Miner, Lake and Moody Counties. The United Way awarded over $134,000 in grant funding to 27 non-profit partners in 2024.
