School Board to Hire New Elementary Teacher and Other Staff at Meeting Today
The Madison Central School Board will take action on a number of personnel items, during their regular meeting today. On the agenda for the board is the retirement of Peggy Leighton as the high school Administrative Assistant, effective July 31st.Â
The board is also expected to approve the hiring of AJ Schoeberl an Administrative Assistant, as well as Shelly Doblar, Arleen Weerheim, and Pam Finck as part-time kitchen staff, and Duane Lorenz as a custodian. The board will also approve the hire of Lauren Hagenson as an elementary teacher to replace Rebecca Finck, who resigned two weeks ago.Â
Other agenda items include a busing proposal from the Howard School District, and the consideration of a plan to provide free meals to students on August 20th, the first day of school for Madison Central. They will also consider approval of seven open enrollment applications.Â
These items and more make up the agenda for the Madison Central School Board meeting, that begins at 5:30 today in the Board Room at Madison High School.
