School Board to approve new SRO contract

The Madison Central School Board will consider the approval of a renewed agreement with the City of Madison for the School Resource Officer. If approved, the agreement with the city would be in place for another five years. The school district pays for 60 percent of the SRO program, with the city covering the rest.

Other items on the agenda for the school board include the hiring of one full time and one part time kitchen staff, as well as two paraprofessionals and a seasonal grounds employee.

Tonight’s school board meeting begins at 5:30pm in the boardroom of Madison High School.
