Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Madison

One person was injured in a accident on Thursday in Madison. At about 4:35pm Thursday the Madison Police Department, Madison Ambulance, and Madison Fire Department responded to the 300 blk of NW 2^nd St for a car vs pedestrian accident.  It was discovered that a juvenile female had been attempting to cross the road and was struck by a vehicle traveling west.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Madison Hospital.  The investigation is currently ongoing.
