No danger to public during “misunderstanding” on Tuesday afternoon

A Madison police presence in downtown Madison was noticed on several Facebook posts Tuesday afternoon. Madison Police Chief Justin Meyer said, “There was a suspicious person and package call, that turned out to be an innocent misunderstanding.”
