MRHS celebrates National Rural Health Day
Madison Regional Health System joined communities across America on Thursday, in celebration of National Rural Health Day. The National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health and rural-focused organizations throughout the United States set aside the third Thursday of November to recognize National Rural Health Day. This annual event is an opportunity to honor the individuals and organizations dedicated to addressing the unique healthcare needs of nearly 61 million people living in rural America.
As part of National Rural Health Day, Madison Regional Health System announced that they again received the 2024 Performance Leadership Award for Excellence in Quality.Â
Compiled by the Chartis Center for Rural Health, the Performance Leadership Awards honor top performance among rural hospitals in Quality, Outcomes and/or Patient Perspective.
