Madison School board to receive presentation from architects as part of today’s meeting

The Madison Central School board will receive a pre-design presentation on Monday from JLG Architects. Earlier this year, JLG presented the board with potential needs and solutions for the district’s buildings. Of particular need was the Madison Middle School, a building that has now been in use without renovation for over 30 years.

JLG has been meeting with the district staff and administration for the past several months, to develop a plan for the Middle School. 

Also during today’s school board meeting, the board will hold second readings on updated policies for Library Materials and Criminal Background checks. They are also expected to approve the hiring of Jeremy Fedeler as Director of Transportation, replacing the retiring Stan Fods. 

Tonight’s school board meeting begins at 5:30 in the Boardroom in Madison High School.
