Madison Restricting Hours at Yard Waste Site

It was announced yesterday that due to inappropriate use of the City of Madison Yard Waste Site restricted hours will begin on Monday, August 12, 2024.
Madison Mayor Roy Lindsay says that the yard waste site is a permitted site so they have to follow state guidelines.
Lindsay reminds residents that the Yard Waste site is for City of Madison residents only and should be used for the disposal of branches, Christmas trees, garden waste, grass clippings, leaves, pumpkins and sticks.
The site will now be open Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Use of the site outside of these hours will not be permitted under any circumstances.
These revised hours will remain in effect until further notice.
