Loyalty and service part of the theme’s of Madison’s Veterans Day Service

Madison area veterans along with Madison Middle and High School students and staff honored veterans during a special program held Monday in the high school gym.  The program was led by Danny Frisby-Griffin of Madison, retired U.S. Air Force veteran.  

Monday’s program included speaker Senior Chief Petty Officer Jeremiah Schneider, a Wentworth native and graduate of Chester Area High School. Schneider said Veteran’s Day is a holiday for every American. 

He said part of the legacy veterans have made is a legacy of service and loyalty. 

 

Also during the annual Veteran’s Day Program, Madison Middle School student Giobbe Meyer read from his “Patriot’s Pen” essay, and High School Student Kira Lawrence delivered her “Voice of Democracy” essay.  The program also included musical selections by the Madison High School Choir.
