LEVO Credit Union awarding seeking nomination for teacher awards

Levo Credit Union is awarding $500 each to 8 teachers nominated by parents, students or community members as having made a huge impact on their students. Levo started the Adopt-A-Classroom Program in 2014. Since then, Levo has awarded more than $34,000 in classroom awards to area teachers.

Levo, formerly Sioux Falls Federal Credit Union, is the oldest Credit union in South Dakota, having begun operation in 1934.

Anyone can make a nomination by going to https://www.levo.org/adopt-a-classroom.

These winners will each be presented with a $500 check for classroom expenses. Nominees are able to recognize a teacher by answering two questions. What impact has this teacher made on your life? And, how have they demonstrated a unique and creative teaching style?

Nominees must be within Levo’s 29 counties, which include Lake, Moody, Brookings, Minnehaha, McCook, and Kingsbury Counties.
