Interlakes Area United Way Taking Applications for 2025 Funding
Local non-profit programs and organizations are encouraged to apply for grant funding from Interlakes Area United Way. The 2025 application period is currently open until September 20.
IAUW seeks to improve the lives of people in need by coordinating financial and volunteer resources for other non-profit agencies in the region. IAUW’s goal is to create long-lasting positive changes by focusing on the building blocks for a good life.
Eligible recipients include non-profits which are located in and/or serve residents in Lake, Miner and/or Moody counties and which provide services in the areas of education, economic mobility and health.
In order to be considered, organizations must complete an application for funding, available online at interlakesunitedway.org or by contacting IAUW Executive Director Melissa Dougan at [email protected]. Applicants must also submit an annual financial report or recent income/expense statement.
IAUW granted over $134,000 to 27 programs in 2024. Recipients spanned a diverse range of sectors, including education, healthcare, community development and social services. Each was selected for its outstanding contributions to the well-being of area residents.
