Family events around Madison this weekend

There is a weekend full of fun family events happening in Madison.   Starting tonight the annual Northern Bull Riding Tour will be going on at Prairie Village.  The Calcutta starts at 6:30, with the bull riding to start at 7:00 p.m. Admission for the event is fifteen-dollars for adults and five-dollars for kids ages six to twelve.  Kids five and under get free admission into the event, and season passes will be accepted.  

Tomorrow there are 2 events happening.   Start the day at Herman Luce Pioneer Day at the Lake Herman State Park, which will include several different activities.  Herman Luce Pioneer Day is from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Some of the activities include rope and candle making, weaving, dutch oven cooking, butter churning, and more.  All of the activities at the State Park tomorrow are free, but a park entrance license is required for all vehicles entering the park. 

Saturday afternoon Prairie Village will be holding a free family event, the Bulls and Pulls Antique Tractor Pull.  It gets under at 4pm at Prairie Village west of Madison.
