DSU Trojan Days Parade Starts at 10am on Saturday
Dakota State University will hold its Trojan Days parade on Saturday morning, starting at 10:00 a.m. on Egan Avenue in Madison. The parade will follow the traditional route from South to North on Egan Avenue.
Earlier this week, Braxton Lacher and Maya Plummer were crowned king and queen at Dakota State’s coronation ceremony. Â
Lacher is a senior biology major from Watertown, S.D. He is a member of the football team, a leader in TriBeta Club, a member of the Captain’s Council, and a Trojan Ambassador.Â
Plummer is a second-year student majoring in Computer Information Systems from Brookings, S.D. Plummer is involved in the Student Activities Board, Nanocon leadership team, Swing Dance Club, Theater Club, Honors, and is a resident assistant in Higbie Hall.Â
Other events on Saturday include the Trojan Days Color Run 5K, starting at 8am at the Madison Community Center. Homecoming tailgating will start at 1pm. The DSU Homecoming game against Jamestown will start at 4pm.Â
