Dakota State University’s Master of Science in Health Informatics and Information Management recently was accredited by The Commission of Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management.
DSU’s Director of Health Information Management program Dr. Renae Spohn said that DSU is the second university in the U.S. to have these accredited associate, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.

The accreditation reinforces the institution’s commitment to academic excellence in higher education. DSU joins a select group of seven universities’ degree programs that have received this accreditation for their master’s degree. It is the only accredited health informatics and information management program in South Dakota.
