City Approves Bid For New City Hall

The Madison City Commission discussed the new City Administration Building on Tuesday. Justin Olson, an Architect with RSA, talked about what they hope to achieve with the new building.
Mayor Roy Lindsay says it’s time for the build to happen so the city can prepare for the future.Â
The bid for $10,199,000 from Journey Group was accepted on Tuesday, with an estimated completion date of May 16th, 2025. Â
The new building is to be located near South Highland Avenue and Southwest 4th Street & will house the Police, Finance, Human Resources, Engineering, and Administrative departments, along with the Mayor’s Office and Commission room.
